No "Debaters" for me this weekend. My excitement got the better of me so I just assumed, which has subsequently made an "ass" out of "u" and "me" (get it? "u" as in you! That's right, somehow you deserve some blame for this! You're such an ass!).

Anyway, I've been informed that rather than being in the season finale, I'm in the season opener, which is even more exciting! If this were an episode of "Lost", it would be the difference between leaving you tantalizingly confused and frustratingly confused. So it's all good.

Sorry for the confusion. See you in September!

USING PROCESS OF ELIMINATION... speculate that I am featured on what might be the season finale of "The Debaters" this Saturday and Monday on CBC Radio One (Sirius 137). In it I argue the merits of superheroes as role models, so there's some passionate rhetoric to be heard. The other topic on the show should be on the merits of radiation, which is a great complement for my topic, as superheroes and radiation go together like peanut butter and whatever imbues peanut butter with awesome powers.

"Debaters" updates their blog here, and should say for sure which episode is airing by Friday or so (at this point they're still advertising last week's "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" broadcast).

"The Debaters" airs on Saturday at 6:30pm and again on Monday at 8:30pm.

Will David's lifetime knowledge of comic bookery allow him to triumph over the dark forces of skepticism and maturity? Tune in this week...
