ABSOLUTE UPHEAVAL (OR "DAVID ENTERS A NEW STAGE")


I am back in Ottawa but, this time, at a different club.

As most of you well know, when a worldwide terrorist threat is assassinated (it was one of my more memorable birthdays) it is common for people to absorb the news, feel the winds of change, and decide to try something new.

A last minute opening coupled with this sentiment combined such that I find myself headlining at Absolute Comedy Club right here in Ottawa.

I've already done two shows (closing the Tuesday and Wednesday Pro-Amateur nights) and I have to say I have not enjoyed such a debut at a new club since my first time at the Skyline in Appleton (the city, not the rum). So I'm looking forward to more shows at Absolute (the club, not the vodka) both here and then next week in Toronto.
